Super fast dinner – Polpette


Dinner tonight POLPETTE Italian meatballs

Made ludo tomato sauce earlier in the week, it needed a partner

I had some stale bread so soaked it in milk, season, mix with pork and beef mince, sage, rosemary, garlic, chilli I added smoked salt and pink peppercorns

Rolled into small balls sprinkle with a little flour, fry lightly so they colour and then add the sauce simmer and to finish add parmagiano –

serve with buttery sage polenta delicious
or just throw some pasta on,
make wraps or subs and add melted cheese
Add lots of beans – butter, borlotti, or lentils quick cook ones and a hunk of bread
Make burgers and add Hallumi

Any leftovers pop into individual portion bags , date & freeze then you always have a snack or supper
