In 2012 ( and for the previous 20 years) I was working safely employed and full-time, at that time I was in a fast moving mobile phone business looking after many retail sites, not food related, not even food enhanced and realised that my future wasn’t mobile, maybe mobile food but not mobile communications. So i left that lovely safe world of being employed and dove head first into the world of food.
Food Love , true food love , really started when my children were really small, as a young mother still working full-time i knew i had to cook, my mother had cooked homemade food so i knew what and how at a very basic level, the interest was in the eating really and get to get to the eating i had to cook it…birth of food love, as a rather obsessive reader my self learning began, book after book was sought and bought and all genres of foods were consumed by the word prior to attempting in the kitchen, cooking by words was easier and less risky.
By being the cook i learnt through error and mistake and depending on my level of bravery attempted and ate through many burnt, unsuitable offerings with success’ along the way too.
True bravery began when food love became an income! And thats where the story begins ……………….
